PRATEEKSHA is the culmination of good work started by some enthusiastic young women in the middle part of 1998s. These young man and young motivated themselves in an organised manner to do some social good. They treated to give something back to the unprivileged sections of the society. Who are devoid of even the basic necessities of life? Soon this small and unorganised effort found a platform called PRATEEKSHA. It felt necessary to register it formally to better co ordinate various activities of the organisation. Thus PRATEEKSHA was formally registered as a non Govt. Organisation under the societies Registration Act 1860 in1998 and ultimately registered under Ministry of Home affairs, New Delhi, FCRA in the year 2009 website- prateeksha.org
