Started as a seed project Unyolo Village Project (UVIP) in Kenya came into existence in 2001. In 2005, it helped establish an Early Childhood Development CBO for Unyolo community, Siaya district in Kenya. In 2008, it was approved as a Kenyan NGO operating in the education and Capacity building sectors.
It has its own governance and team of management. The same organization receives interns and volunteers from different cultural backgrounds.
It is now assisting a community of over 150 individuals through scholarships, skill trainings, community productive activities and women empowerment.
