Job Description:
Reports To – Director, CEFI
Line Management – Research Analysts and Project Manager
The Climate Resilience Centre of CEFI seeks to fill the position of Communication Manager.
The manager will work with Director, Climate Resilience Centre, CEFI
Tasks and responsibilities would include:
- Develop knowledge and communication products to further the objective of Climate Resilience Centre
- Design, coordinate and implement events and outreach actions with partners, governments and private sector counterparts
- Contribute to achieving overall objectives of the Centre
- Coordinate proposal development in line with planned action of Climate Resilience Centre
- Draft Response documents on wide ranging issues of relevance w.r.t pre and post 2012 international climate negotiations
- Management – budgets, reporting to donors and partners, representation of the Centre at seminars and conferences
Essential Skills and experience
- Communication Skills (written and oral) essential – Experience with leading media houses (preferably in print media)
- Research and Reporting Skills – Experience in managing research and reporting the same for wide range of audience
- Understanding Climate Change – AT least 5 years experience on climate change research and documented evidence of the same
