World Vision International is seeking applications from qualified and deserving candidates for the job/vacancy of Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) Zimbabwe. Location of this job will be based in Harare, Zimbabwe. Type of post is Accompanied-Family.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Health, Nutrition, Business, or another field , a Master degree would be an added advantage
- A minimum of four years of overseas international management experience, preferably in administering USAID and/or Food for Peace programmes with at least two years experience overseeing USG food aid programmes (Title II or USDA)
- Ideal candidates would have an additional expertise (two years or more) in one or more of the following areas: Zimbabwe’s food security programming, grants/compliance, food commodities/logistics, disaster risk management, and/or gender.
- Experience as a DCOP or senior leader/expert advisor also required.
Preferred
- Proven ability to manage technical assistance teams is necessary.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with U.S. Government international assistance programme requirements preferably USAID and/or other bilateral funding agencies is a must.
