The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued the vacancy for the post of ‘Advisor, Health Research Management at the duty station of Washington, D.C., United States to work on the Technology Healthcare and Research Area (THR) programme and duties include providing advice and contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of health research policies in member countries, participate in the development, implementation etc of research policies and resources, provide technical cooperation aimed at strengthening national health research systems and so on. The candidate should have a university degree and a postgraduate degree in health or social sciences. Desirably, the candicate can have training in healthcare, social sciences, scientific communications and knowledge translation.
