Executive Summary

Existing cybersecurity laws, enforcement mechanisms, and digital literacy programs remain insufficient to address these emerging threats.
This proposal—“AI Safety & Fraud Prevention Initiative (AISFPI) 2025–2027”—aims to regulate AI misuse in online fraud by strengthening legal frameworks, deploying advanced AI detection tools, training law enforcement, increasing cooperation with technology companies, and empowering the public through awareness programs. Over a 24-month implementation period, the project will support government authorities, financial institutions, law enforcement agencies, and citizens to better identify, regulate, and respond to AI-enabled fraud.
