Introduction
Wildlife conservation is essential for maintaining ecological balance and biodiversity. However, increasing human activities such as deforestation, illegal hunting, and climate change are threatening wildlife habitats. Engaging youth in conservation efforts can create long-term sustainable solutions. This project aims to empower young people with knowledge, skills, and practical experience in wildlife protection through structured Eco-Guard training programs.
Problem Statement
Many rural and forest-adjacent communities lack awareness and capacity to protect wildlife. Youth in these areas often have limited opportunities for skill development and employment. At the same time, illegal poaching and habitat destruction continue due to weak local monitoring systems. There is a need to involve youth as active participants in conservation efforts while also providing them with livelihood opportunities.
