Background and Rationale
Conflict, climate change, and natural disasters continue to displace millions of people worldwide. Displaced populations often face economic hardship, social exclusion, trauma, and limited access to services upon return or resettlement.
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, durable solutions for displaced populations require community-based approaches that promote inclusion, livelihoods, and social cohesion. The International Organization for Migration emphasizes that reintegration is most successful when host communities and displaced individuals are supported together.
This proposal outlines a comprehensive reintegration program that strengthens livelihoods, psychosocial support, and community dialogue to foster long-term stability.
