(ICAS) International Convention of Asia Scholars is organizing Book Prize which aims to create international focus for publication Asia while increasing their visibility worldwide.The biennial ICAS Book Prize is awarded for outstanding English-language works in the field of Asia Studies. Also prizes will be awarded to the best dissertation in the Humanities and the Social Sciences. In 2007 the Colleagues’ Choice Award was added. Votes can be cast online through the IBP Polling Booth from 1 April 2013.
Award Categories-
- best study in the Humanities;
- best study in the Social Sciences;
- best dissertation in the Humanities;
- best dissertation in the Social Sciences;
- Colleagues’ Choice Award.
Eligibility-
- Books on Asia in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences that are published between August 2010 and October 2012 are eligible.
- Dissertations on Asia in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences defended between August 2010 and October 2012 are eligible.
