The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) is seeking applications from individuals/organizations in Asia, Africa, East Europe, and Latin America, the Caribbean as well as Pacific and Small Island countries for two different training programs –
- Women & Enterprise Development (WED) – A Trainers/Promoters Program 2014
- Entrepreneurship and Promotion of Income Generation Activities (TT-EPIGA) 2014
The ITEC invites 161 countries in Asia, Africa, East Europe, and Latin America, the Caribbean as well as Pacific and Small Island countries to share in the Indian developmental experience. The program focuses on training and capacity building. The basic objectives of the program are: promotion and development of micro, small and medium enterprises including enhancement of their competitiveness through different interventions.
Eligibility criteria
- Applicants can belong to country in one of the following regions – Asia, Africa, East Europe, and Latin America, the Caribbean as well as Pacific and Small Island countries.
- Applicants should be the officials working in developmental organization and women entrepreneurs associations, industrial and small business development organizations, planning departments, financial institutions, commercial banks, research institutions and universities and NGOs/or development organization.
- Applicants must be of age group 25-50 years.
- Applicant must have good command over English language.
- Candidates must be physically fit to undertake the training programme.
