The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) is seeking applications from individuals/organizations for Women & Enterprise Development (WED) – A Trainers/Promoters Program 2014. The program focuses on training and capacity building of women. The professionals and people from developing countries are offered unique training courses, in different centers of excellence in India which empower them with not just professional skills, but prepare them for an increasingly globalized world.
Duration of the training is 2 months from 1 December 2014 to 23 January 2015.
Major activities of the program
- Understand the process of women empowerment through entrepreneurship development.
- Develop effectiveness in dealing with gender issues and increasing gender sensitization.
- Develop skills in mobilizing and organizing women in recognition of women’s potential as agents for social change.
- Practice necessary skills of enterprise creation.
- Acquire ability and capabilities of deciding about new venture opportunities, planning organizing and successfully managing the small business/enterprise.
- Improve training skills and business development services.
- Improve monitoring and evaluation skills as well as impact assessment.
