What’s up Youth “WupY”, Agora Arts & Culture, Egypt Foundation, and YouthMovements.Org, are initiating the Arts for Peace Contest. This contest is part of Culture of Peace Campaign International Day of Peace 2012. This call start from 10 September 2012 and you must submit contributions before .
In celebration of International Day of Peace and Culture of Peace Campaign, a Contest is previewed; the contest addresses the young active people of the world and allows them to express their opinions, support and vision to “Peace through Arts”, through:
- Writing (articles, blog posts, stories, scripts, testimonials, journal pages and poetry)
- Art gallery (for artistic expression and Podcast about Culture of Peace)
Arts for Peace Contest encourage:
- The uses of new tools and new materials in support of a noble goal (Peace)
- The hidden talents of young activists, artists and inventors from around the globe

The Contest will indeed rely on the Internet, innovative ICTs and social media platforms and will be hosted on the pages of WupY and published by an important number of local, regional and international partners. This year the organizers will offer three Prizes for the best contribution in each category (100$ for best entry) and give certificate and special mention for the 2nd and 3rd places.
