Call for participation is invited from throughout the world to submit a video and participate in a competition on how to finance entrepreneurs through non-conventional ways.
SCIEF Center in collaboration with IE Business School and King Abdul Aziz University invites to share innovative ideas which could shape how the world finance systems emerge. The candidates just have to make a short video 3 minutes maximum which showcases examples of social impact finance from community and throughout the world. We ask you to be creative; use videos, photos, drawings, or whichever visual medium you like in order to transmit your ideas.
PARTICIPATION PROCESS:
To apply for the competition, you need to fill in the short application and upload your video link of a maximum of 3 minutes through either our Facebook group or through the link. You need to have your video submitted by 15th July as per timeline.
There will be three rounds for selection:
- Viewer’s choice: This round is where you get your friends, family, community to vote for your idea. The top 20 videos with the most likes will move to the semi final round
- Judge choice: The top 20 videos will be reviewed by judge panelists who will review on these criteria and the top 10 videos will have an all expense trip to Madrid and access to the highly exclusive Financial Innovation by Youth Think Tank.

- Final round of Review: One representative of each of the 10 teams have a chance to prepare a presentation for why their idea rocks and why they should be part of making the documentary Financial Innovation by Youth. The top 3 winners will win 2000 Euros to produce their part of the documentary which will be showcased in 2013 across the globe in Madrid, Paris and Jeddah.
