Asia House promotes initiatives and projects help improve understanding, dialogue and relations between the societies of the Asia- Pacific and Spain.
The Casa Asia Award aims to recognize and disseminate the work of individuals and entities, public or private, that have encouraged this objective and / or have done outstanding work in favor of the dignity and human rights in the Asia-Pacific.
RULES–
- Any person or entity in Spain and the Asia-Pacific region may submit nominations.
- Candidates must have done an outstanding work in improving the knowledge, dialogue and relations between the societies of the Asia-Pacific Region and
- Spain and on behalf of the dignity and Human Rights in the Asia-Pacific Region.
- Applications must state the merits of the person or entity proposed to be awarded the Casa Asia Award in a document of a minimum of 350 words and a
- maximum of 700.
- If preferred, additional documentation may be attached. Originals received will not be returned.
- The Casa Asia Award will consist of 6,000 euros.
- The jury shall consist of one representative from each of the four institutions of the Casa Asia Consortium, the Director General of Casa Asia and five
- prominent members of civil society in Spain or the Asia-Pacific Region.
- The Casa Asia Award may be granted ex aequo, posthumously or declared void. The jury’s decision is final.
- The Casa Asia Award will be given in the same calendar year as the Call, at an event organized by Casa Asia.
