U.S. Embassy in Santiago de Chile invites participants for Contest “Citizen Journalism”. Winners of this contest will have the opportunity to receive spectacular Ipad Mini. The goal of this program is to reflect the importance of free access to information, freedom of the press, and the voice of ordinary people, and that through a story wants to contribute to a wider discussion. The video reportage are free to the dictates of the “citizen journalist” in relation to an issue, news, or little coverage in their community.
Awards-
- The chosen ones as contest winner is giving away a mini I-pad 16GB with Wi-Fi.
- While working as a team to take a shot, the prize will be awarded to a single participant.
- The prize is not transferable and can not be exchanged for an equivalent.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be between 14 and 25 years.
- Under 18 years with written permission from their parents/guardians or attorneys, based in Chile.
