Directory of Social Change (DSC) seeks nominations for the Social Change Awards 2011 aimed at rewarding all those who are working to achieve a positive change in society – individuals, charities, community groups, companies, public bodies.
This change can come about through the everyday actions of one individual, many people pulling together, a local company that cares about their wider community or the thoughtful investment of resources.
You don’t have to be a charity to apply… whether you’re applying as an individual, an informal group, a company, a public body OR a charity; if you are passionate about social change then there is a category for you.
This year there are five award categories:
- – Everyday Impact Award – New Enterprises
- – Everyday Impact Award – Long-term Enterprises
- – Influencer Award
- – The Great Giving Funders Award
- – Life Time Achievement Award
All organisations and individuals must be based in the UK to be eligible for the Social Change Awards. Their work, however, can be international.

The ceremony will be an inclusive, fun and informal event with inspiring speakers and some great stories from entrants.
