This photo contest aims to empower Women and Girls through Sports. Women and girls are leveling the playing field and raising the bar whether it’s on the field, in the pool or on the track, women and girls all over the world. Grab camera, get creative and capture an action shot that celebrates how sports empower women and girls.
Prizes:
- · Two Grand Prize winners will receive a tablet computer (iPad 3) and their entries will be displayed at the US Department of State
- · Runners-up will receive Exchanges Connect T-shirts and trading cards featuring the top 20 submissions
Important Notes
- You must be at least 14 years old to enter the contest.
- If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to participate.
- Each member may submit a maximum of two (2) entries for consideration in the contest.
- Entries will be judged by a panel from the US Department of State and photography and sports experts on originality, creativity, effectiveness, and photo quality

- Take an original digital photo that addresses our theme and represents the empowerment of women and girls through sports.
- Click the “Enter the Photo Contest Now” button below for further instructions on adding required information, a descriptive title, a caption, and tagging your photo
Deadline: Submissions will be accepted from July 24 until September 4, 2012.
