The Hand in Hand International Organization has launched an Info-graphic Competition to create an info-graphic that demonstrates the importance of jobs to overcome poverty. The major aim of the competition is to create an info-graphic that makes poverty data ‘sing’, makes trends come to life, and brings the big picture into the limelight for a global audience that includes government, business, and potential donors.
The entrants who design info-graphic should include a short biography, the title of the info-graphic and brief description of the info-graphic to enter the competition. Entries will be judged on how effectively the info-graphic visualizes and projects the data, how comprehensive and user friendly it is, and its general design. The winning entry will be featured on many Hand in Hand’s materials and widely promoted on-line and off-line, the winner will receive Hans Rosling’s endorsement and a cash prize of £500. Entries will be judged on how effectively the info-graphic illustrates the story we wish to tell, visualizes the data, how comprehensive it is, and its general design. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 11 February 2014 via the website, social media and press release.
Eligibility Criteria –
- All images and other content used in info-graphics must be either originally produced by the entrant or proper proof of permission obtained from the copyright owner(s) must be submitted to be eligible for the competition.
