Participants from UK are invited for Global Impact Challenge through which applicants have the opportunity to win up to £500,000 in award.The Challenge is sponsored by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), a company incorporated under the laws of Ireland whose principal place of business is at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This challenge aims to support entrepreneurial non-profits using technology to tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges.
Challenge offers-
- Each Finalist will receive 10 Samsung Chromebooks. Each of the four Award Recipients will also receive 500,000 GBP, and the opportunity to receive limited technical assistance from Googlers, at Google’s sole discretion.
- Google will pay reasonable travel expenses for each Finalist who does not reside in London in order to travel to the Video shooting
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be an authorized representative of an Organisation based in the United Kingdom and registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales, or the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator; or recognized as a charity for tax purposes by HMRC
- not be an entity under U.S. or U.K. export controls or sanctions
- have access to the Internet as of 25 March 2013
- not discriminate on any unlawful basis in either hiring/employment practices or in the administration of programmes and services
- not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity in hiring/employment practices
- agree that if applicant receive an Award it will be used for programs open to all persons regardless of religion and will not be used for religious instruction.
