ENERGY BITS is pleased to invite participants for International Video Challenge. This video challenge will cover areas like : renewable energy, energy saving, energy efficiency, sustainable transport, recycling and reuse. The winning videos in each category will be broadcast on National Television stations from several European countries.
This challenge will promote and encourage the use of renewable energy and energy saving among young people and adolescents.
ENERGY BITS is a cross-media project that campaigns on sustainable energy use. It involves 13 partners from 9 countries in Europe and beyond. ENERGY BITS will produce a series of 27 short TV documentaries, a serious game and an i-doc.
How to participate?
- The videos can be produced by any means and must be loaded in the specific section of the Energy Bits website. The authors should be individual students or groups of students. Each participant must indicate the name of the school and one responsible teacher. Schools may submit more than one video.
- A video must not exceed 3 minutes. The longer video will be included in the out of competition section. The genre of the video is free: commercials, documentary, fiction, video clip, animation, etc..
Eligibility & Criteria-
The competition is open to students aged 11 to 18 from the following European Countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Spain, Slovenia. Individual students or groups belonging to other age groups and other nations can participate out of competition.
