Shift 2012 Calendar Competition aims to discover fresh creators and support them. Shift offers a platform to show works using a calendar as a medium.
Shift has been striving to provide artists many platforms to showcase their works online. The Shift calendar competition has been initiated in 2003 successively. Since then, it pushes the boundaries between online and off line using a “calendar” as its medium. Entries are invited from all over the world and selected works will be distributed all over the world in the format of a physical calendar. Last year’s total submission was 1,623 works from 35 countries.
Shift accepts work despite of nationality and experience. The work should be exclusive and must not be published anywhere and not been submitted to other competitions in the past including the past edition of Shift calendar competition. The image, text, illustration and any other components within your work should be original. Twelve creators (visuals) will be selected and each art work will be used in the Shift 2011 Calendar.
