The objective of the award is to present successful sustainable projects to a global audience and to demonstrate that for many environmental problems feasible solutions already exist.
The ENERGY GLOBE Award was founded in 1999 by the Austrian energy pioneer Wolfgang Neumann and is one of today’s most prestigious environmental awards.
The award is divided among five categories: Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Youth
Focus Areas
- resource conservation, improving air, soil and water quality,
- increasing energy efficiency
- renewable energies
- contribution towards the fight against climate change
Award and Benefits
- International winning projects will receive a 10,000 Euro cash award.
- The best projects will be honored as part of a ceremony that will be broadcast worldwide as well as featured by the international media.
- In each country the best project will be awarded the National Energy Globe Award and presented at the global online platform of Energy Globe.
Eligibility Criteria
Every individual, private or public institution, companies, NGOs, etc from all over the world are eligible to apply for the award.
