Netherlands eScience Center (NLeSC) is offering a prize for a talented young researcher demonstrating excellence in the development or application of eScience approaches to address scientific challenges.
Goals of NLeSC
- Stimulate creative data-driven research across all scientific disciplines
- Develop and apply tools to enable data-intensive scientific research
- Promote knowledge-based collaboration between cross-disciplinary researchers
Prize Information
- 40Keuro in kind provision of eScience Research Engineer support to undertake project
- 10Keuro personal sponsorship for travel or consumables

Criteria for Prize
Prize to be awarded to a young scientist based on combination of
- demonstrated previous success in the development or application of data-driven or compute-intensive research within a scientific domain or multiple domains
- the quality of a new project idea and its applicability as an NLeSC path-finding project.
Award Ceremony
The Young eScientist Award Ceremony will take place in the Amsterdam ArenA on 8 October 2015.
