  18. Jockshan S. Foryoh says:

    Dear Officials of WSYA:

I am 28 years, a Liberian based in Voinjama City, Lofa County Liberia.Lofa County of Liberia has been a home for most of the child soldiers/ex-combatants who participated in the over 14 years of civil conflictin Liberia.

When I returned from exile in Guinea, I saw unmet needs in most of our communities for young people to realize their full potential and gain access back into their communities. With the experiences and internal push for breaking through young people’s plights in societies; I decided to established a group or non governmental organization in 2006. I started this dream with little or no material and financial support. On and of, I wrote many proposals to UNDP, UNMIL, PLAN and others to no avail. Finally, I got a job and used the resources to bring youth together in this venture..

Now, we are implementing programs of peace building, community development, good governance and democracy for reputable donors. We are about to produce a book for young people titled ‘SAVE’, this is a tool for young… I want to be a part of this award winning and a process for building the value of young people. Please send me details as regards to the application process.

    Warm regards
    Jockshan S. Foryoh
