Call for Applications are invited at Applying a Feminist Human Rights Perspectives to Macroeconomic Policy: An Economic Justice Training. The training will be held on April 18, 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey before the AWID International Forum.
The Center for Women’s Global Leadership (CWGL) and Action Aid International will host a day-long Economic Justice Training to promote understanding and rethinking of macroeconomic policy from a human rights perspective.
There is an emerging recognition that neoliberal economic models fail to result in sustained growth and economic stability and that these same policies also undermine governments’ ability to meet their human rights obligations to guarantee economic and social rights.
