Call for Papers is invited at a conference which will be organized from October 12 to 13, 2012, in Claremont, Calif. Claremont Lincoln University, the Islamic Society of North America, USC’s Office of Religious Life and the Center for Global Peace building at Claremont Lincoln University are co-sponsoring this conference on the topic, “Muslim Perspectives on Peace building”.
Call for papers are invited from community leaders, educators, activists, researchers, and professionals to inspire fellow scholars and community members interested in peace building from Muslim perspectives by sharing their experiences in resolving family, community and interfaith conflicts.
The major objective of the conference is to deeply engage these issues from Muslim perspectives and develop methodologies and models of intervention and prevention to address the range of issues presented. Themes should be related to Community, Family and Interfaith conflicts, and, within these themes, conflicts based upon gender, age, culture and race.
