CALL for PROPOSALS are invited by The Division of Distance Learning at 2012 AECT Convention. This convention will be organized at Louisville KY from October 30 to November 3, 2012. The Division encourages proposals of disciplined inquiry, best practices and practitioner proposals.
Distance learning encourages virtual high schools and universities, online and blended learning, multi-user and personal learning virtual environments, web and video conferencing. The scope of distance learning include blogging, online gaming, , podcasting, effective instructional design, successful instructional strategies, student success, faculty development, online collaboration, enhancing motivation, online social and learning interaction, mentoring, research, theory, policy and other significant topics of interest to DDL members.
Presentations related to the following sub-themes are encouraged:
- Distributed Learning Systems: Globalizing Education
- Mobile Technologies for Teaching and Learning
- Social Tools for Teaching and Learning
- Innovations in Open Educational Resources
- The Continuing Evolution of Distance Education
- Issues in Learning and Design in the Age of Globalization
