Local call for proposals is announced by Italy-Tunisia cross-border cooperation programme. This EU-funded call for proposals for projects promoting development and regional integration, scientific and cultural cooperation, sustainable development and support to local NGOs. This programme offers support to local NGOS for a total budget of €8,221,143 and under the reference Europe Aid/132-784/M/ACT/Multi.
The call for proposals covers the following territories of Italy and Tunisia including Sicily(Provinces of Agrigente, Trapani, Caltanissetta, Raguse, Syracuse) and Tunisia( gouvernorats of Nabeul, Tunis, Ben Arous, Ariana, Manouba, Bizerte, Béja and Jendouba).
Cross-Border Cooperation (CBC) reinforces cooperation between regions of EU Member States and Partner Countries on EU’s external borders. EU financing for the Italy-Tunisia CBC programme is of €25.1 million for the period 2007-2013.
The deadline for submission of Concept Notes proposals is 14 May, 2012.
