Nineteenth-Century Art Worldwide Journal (NCAW) is inviting proposals in the form of abstract of scholarly articles related to digital humanities research and publication for Mellon Foundation Grant 2014. The major purpose of the grant is to help authors in the development phase of their articles as well as to aid NCAW in the implementation phase.
The articles that take full advantage of new web technologies either in the research or the publication phase, or both are highly encouraged to submit proposals.
Eligibility Criteria –
- The scholarly work should engage in one or more of the following areas of investigation – data mining and analysis; geographical information system (GIS) and mapping; and high-resolution imaging and dynamic image presentation.
- The submitted abstract (500 words) within the areas mentioned in previous point; must explain why advanced computing technologies are necessary for conducting this research and/or for presenting the resulting scholarship.
The abstract must be accompanied with a short curriculum vitae and budget.
