The Neotropical Bird Club (NBC) is calling for proposals for research grants of $500 to $1500. Grants are available for conservation work or research which may be of conservation benefit. The project must target either globally threatened species or globally important sites will be given preference.
Eligibility Criteria
- Residents of the Caribbean, Central America and South America
- Projects that can achieve high global conservation benefit.
- Globally threatened species projects would be preferred.
- Applicants need to demonstrate their competence and project feasibility.
Application process
- Applicants have to send their proposals along with the application to the email id given on the website.
- An initial assessment is made by a conservation sub-committee and the applications that best match the aims of the programme must then be approved by the Club’s full Council.
