The International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie) is inviting proposals preparation grants for the impact evaluation of a program promoting girls’ education implemented by the Government of Benin.
The program entitled Promoting girls’ schooling is under the Policy Window three (PW3) program of 3ie and aims to reduce the educational gap between girls and boys in school and increase the enrollment of girls in schools. Grants up to $30,000 USD are awarded.
PW3 grants are awarded in two phases.
- Phase one: Qualifications and proposal preparation.
- Phase two: Full proposal and impact evaluation.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only legally registered organizations and consortia of registered organizations can apply.
- The lead grant-holding organization making the application must be located in the region, with at least one researcher from this country as a principal investigator(s).
- The application may include other researchers who are not employees of that organization.
- Applicants are encouraged to include a researcher with a demonstrated global reputation as one of the principal investigators (PI).
Submission guidelines
The applicants should submit a Request for Qualification (RFQ) to the email address given on the website. RFQ applications must include the following information:
- Cover letter.
- Completed organization information form, located on the 3ie website.
- Curriculum vitae.
- Copies of up to three impact evaluation reports relevant for this call, with proposed PIs as named authors.
- Proposed budget.
