European Economic Area (EEA) Grants and Norway Grants are inviting proposals for Bilateral National Fund – Bulgaria. The major purpose of the program is to promote and strengthen bilateral relations between Bulgaria and the donor states Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway in priority areas of common interest and to share knowledge, expertise, good practice and to achieve shared results.
Project Priorities –
- Knowledge exchange in combating drugs and organized crime and knowledge exchange in the area of children and youth at risk
- Promotion of European values and in particular history teaching in multicultural society
Eligibility Criteria –
- Projects must be implemented in partnership between Bulgarian and donor state entities.
- Eligible beneficiaries can be legal entities registered in Bulgaria – program operators with competence on the thematic areas; Ministries and other state institutions in charge of implementing national policies in the field of the two thematic areas; Primary and secondary schools, universities and research institutions; Local and regional authorities; and Not-for-profit organizations.
