The NordForsk is currently inviting proposals from the researchers belonging to the Nordic countries for Planning Grants in Societal security under the programme called Nordic Societal Security Programme, having an aim to support the planning of proposals for selected Horizon 2020 Secure Societies calls.
Thematic Framework
Funding will be provided to cover expenses related to the preparation and submission of full proposals under one of the following Horizon 2020 Secure Societies calls:
- Prevention, detection, response and mitigation of the combination of physical and cyber threats to the critical infrastructure of Europe
- Integrated tools for response planning and scenario building
- Situational awareness systems to support civil protection preparation and operational decision making
- Validation of biological toxins measurements after an incident: Development of tools and procedures for quality control
Funding Information
A maximum of 10 pre-proposals will each be awarded a planning grant of NOK 100 000 under this call.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for funding, projects must incorporate researchers from legal entities in at least two Nordic countries and at least one country outside the Nordic region.
- The applicant legal entity must be based in a Nordic country and the consortium must include a minimum of one other Nordic legal entity as well as one non-Nordic legal entity.
- The call is open to all eligible researchers and is not limited to those already receiving funding under the Nordic Societal Security Programme.
- Only one planning grant will be awarded per planned H2020 proposal.
