The United States Department of State in partnership with the Office of International Visitors and Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA/PE/V) is inviting applications for an open competition to administer the FY 2016 International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
Award- The grant of the award is up to $1,061,000 approximately.
Purpose
The main purpose of the award is:
- to enable the Government of the United States to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and of other countries.
- to strengthen the ties which unite U.S with other nations by demonstrating the educational and cultural interests, developments, and achievements of the people of the United States and other nations.
- to assist in the development of friendly, sympathetic and peaceful relations between the United States and the other countries of the world.
Eligibility Criteria
The U.S public and private non-profit organizations meeting the provisions described in Internal Revenue Code section 26 USC 501(c) (3) can apply for the program.
