The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands is organizing The Third Hague Peace Conference for the new generation of students who have a keen interest in contributing to better ideas on how to improve the maintenance of peace and humanitarian law. Essay submissions are invited for the same.The students writing the best 100 essays will be invited to participate in the conference.
This conference will consist of a three-day interactive and intensive program from July 1st to July 3rd 2015. Students from all over the world can participate in the competition. A number of travel grants are available upon request for students from low-income and conflict areas. Students selected to participate get free admission, housing and food during the conference.
Essay Topic
The essays should contain either proposals on strengthening humanitarian law like the Geneva Conventions, or on maintaining peace more effectively by the United Nations Security Council and regional organizations.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be from all anywhere in the world.
- Essays should be entirely written on the mentioned topic.

- Required documents need to be attached with the application apart from your essay include-
- Copy of the title page of passport
- Proof of (at least) a completed bachelor course related to International Law, International Politics or International Relations
- Copy of health insurance policy
