Submit Your Proposal for IEEE Challenge 2030!
The IEEE New Initiatives Committee is currently accepting proposals for short-term completed in 12 months or fewer) projects. IEEE is always looking for ways to better serve the needs of engineers and technology professionals working in industry. This seed grant program is designed to encourage and support innovative, creative, and potentially disruptive approaches to serving engineers and technology professionals working in industry.
IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. Funding is limited to grants that require US$40,000 or less and take 12 months or fewer to complete. The IEEE New Initiative Committee will fund two (2) or more seed grant proposals that are submitted in response to this call for proposals.
Eligibility Criteria
Seed grant proposals in response to the IEEE in 2030 Challenge may be submitted by one or more IEEE members or organizational units, individually or in cooperation with an IEEE staff group.

Applicants can download the grant proposal forms through the website. Completed forms should be sent via email. Include “IEEE in 2030 Challenge Submission” in the subject line of the e-mail for easy identification.
