Making All Voices Count Grand Challenge invites non-profits, for-profits, education establishments, NGOs, individuals, companies, and government actors with innovative ideas that contribute to improved service delivery or electoral processes in Ghana to apply by 17 May 2015 to pitch their idea at Tech4Governance Pitching Competition. The Pitching competition will take place on 30 May 2015 at the New Media Hub in Accra, Ghana. Up to 10 innovators will be selected to pitch, and winners will get support to develop their ideas. The Innovation Grant will be up to £40,000.
Prize/Benefits
- 1 – 2 winners of the competition will receive incubation support for their ideas from Making All Voices Count, with mentoring. Incubation will include preparation for potential innovation grants of up to GBP 40,000 down the line, depending on the development of a proposal strong enough to warrant a grant and demonstration of their capacity to successfully implement
- Winners will have access to mentoring support, international networking and related tools and resources through Making All Voices Count’s South to South Lab

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be non-profits, for-profits, education establishments, NGOs, individuals, companies, and government actors from Ghana.
- Applicants must have innovative ideas that contribute to improved service delivery or electoral processes in Ghana.
- Proposed ideas should seek to incorporate both online and offline tools to address two or more of the guiding points under the mentioned themes.
- The ideas should aim at addressing Making All Voices Count’s overarching goal; transparency, accountability and better governance.
