Participants around the globe are invited to participate in the 4th International Re-Thinking Humanities and Social Sciences Conference. This conference will be conducted in University of Zadar, Croatia from September 5-7, 2013. The objective of this conference is to focus on the ways in which violence is conceived and perceived within different contexts, the ways in which literature, film, performance, and other forms of art relate to and incorporate contemporary outbursts of violence, the new ways in which this process can be theorized in the field of humanities and social sciences, and finally the ways in which this type of violence changes cultural politics of diversity in societies.
