Policía Internacional Transfronteriza / Transborder International Police (PIT/TIP) announces the 6th Annual Training Conference. This conference will be organized by the Texas Tech University and Angelo State University Center for Security Studies on the topic, “Transborder Narco Terrorism – Addressing a Changing Environment”.
This 6th Annual Training Conference will be held from August 21 to 23, 2012 at CJ Davidson Conference Center or Houston Harte University Center.
This year our secluded environment will allow law enforcement and military personnel to have solution-based discussions about current transnational organized crime associated with the drug trade at the US/Mexico border and its corrosive effect on the rule of law.
Topics will include:
• Terrorism;
• Insurgency;
• Organized criminal activity;
• Weapons trafficking,
• Money laundering; and
• Human trafficking.
Eligibility:
Attendees must be law enforcement officers, prosecutors, military or security personnel.
The Registration fee is $200 per participant and it includes three luncheons. Those who pay their registration before July 20, 2012 will receive a $25 discount.
