A List of Open Grants for Participating in International Conferences

International conferences for NGOs and individuals not only provide an opportunity to exchange ideas but also for building strong networks and explore potential partnerships. However, participating in these conferences is not only challenging but it can be impossible for organizations in developing countries as they demand expensive airfare and accommodation in addition to Visa formalities. In this article, we are covering a list of open grants that can be applied for to support your participation in some of the upcoming conferences.

Kroc Institute: Conference on Peace and Conflict Studies

The University of Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies is one of the world’s leading centers for the study of the causes of violent conflict and strategies for sustainable peace. The Kroc Institute’s mission is integral to Notre Dame, an international Catholic research university.

The Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame has issued call for proposals to attend a conference for graduate students and early career faculty. The conference theme is “Beyond Boundaries: Shifting Dynamics in Peace and Conflict Studies.”

This conference welcomes individual papers, full panels, roundtables, posters, and workshops that explore the flows and changes taking place worldwide. In celebration of the Kroc Institute’s interdisciplinary approach, the institute highly encourages submissions that transgress established disciplinary boundaries in the arts, humanities, social and natural sciences.

Submission Process

Proposals should include a 300-word abstract explaining the topic, theoretical background, methodology, and implications of the project. Participants are required to fill the online proposal application.

Our organisation want to participate in International Conferences to contribute to the consolidation of peace and stability in Niger.
Convinced that drugs and all their derivatives are mounted detonators factors of violence, instability, deterioration of social cohesion and peace, the Association House of Life and Hope, comes with a implementation approach of active and participatory actions and in identifying and continuous work put in small projects or specific actions to combat drugs and enhancement of social cohesion in Niger. Also, these actions will be supported by other project developments and enhancements of capacities of target groups in close cooperation with the authorities
If community members, especially those of vulnerable groups (youth 15 -35 years), are engaged in activities that fight against the consumption of drugs, with their reintegration into communities, then community cohesion progress and will Niger continue to be stable.
