The Center for Economic Development will organize its annual Economic Forecast Conference with different variations. The event will be organized on the topic “The Roadmap for Growth: Assessing the State of the Economy” on January 12. This conference will be held at Gold Country Casino’s event center in Oroville, giving the event more seating capacity than at Chico State.
This will be a full-day program with morning, afternoon and evening sessions and will conclude by 3:30 p.m. The morning session will witness economists and speakers with their outlooks on 2012 and an afternoon of break-out sessions for small businesses, government leaders, tribal members and others.
The shift to Oroville will also witness new guest who might have not been able to make it Chio, especially from the Yuba City/Marysville and Sacramento areas.
This event will witness more seating capacity as compared to before i.e. from 450 to 650 and that to in a nonsmoking environment.
