Applications are invited for Conference: Women PeaceMakers 10th Anniversary Conference “Breaking Barriers”.The ongoing work of women peacemakers and peacebuilders worldwide is a source of inspiration to many and to each other. However, within their work they still encounter significant, identifiable roadblocks that are impeding their progress to creating secure, just and peaceful societies. As women work to overcome legacies of intolerance and conflict, persistent realities of impunity, corruption, misogyny and political economies based on war and militarism loom over them.
Conference delegates are invited from governments, legal and security sectors, international agencies and nongovernmental organizations — those who are working to confront the dominant political and social barriers to peace with justice.
