Applicants from Roma are invited to participate in third Barvalipe Roma Pride Summer School, organized this year by the Roma Students Initiative for Barvalipe. The goal of this program is to encourage young Roma to serve as role models, political leaders, and civic activists able to advocate for themselves and their communities. This international summer school, held in the picturesque mountains of Montenegro on August 15–26, 2013.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Young Roma from 20 to 30 years of age.
- Candidates must be proficient in English, with the ability to speak, write and take an active part in discussions.
- Candidates must be from countries participating in the Decade of Roma Inclusion 2005–2015 (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Spain) or from Kosovo, Moldova, Russia, Turkey or Ukraine.
