United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO)/Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation (IFESCCO) is inviting participants for “Issues and Prospects of Arts Education and Education through Art in CIS countries: Building Creative Capacities for XXI Century”. This conference will be held at Minsk, Belarus on 23-26 May 2013. The purpose of this project is to reinforce quality of arts education and education through art with consideration of the international experience.
The Second Regional expert meeting will be conducted with the aim to ensure sustainability of the UNESCO/IFESCCO Project results and will present all the reached results and objectives of the Project with involvement of representatives of all the levels of arts education, including formal and informal, pre-school, secondary, higher and professional education in the field of culture and arts from the CIS countries.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Strong knowledge of UNESCO priorities and guidelines in the field of arts education
- Experience in cooperation with governmental and research institutions
- Experience in organization of international high level events
- Experience in and knowledge of international activities in the field of arts education, including the World Conferences on Arts Education (Lisbon 2006; Seoul 2010)
- Experience in analysis and development of arts education strategies
- Ability to systematize data and elaborate new approaches
- Technical facilities for managing development process and arranging the official launching of the informational resource “Observatory of Arts Education in CIS Countries” in Russian and English languages
- Capacities to ensure translation, editing and proof-reading in Russian and English
