“Connect 2011” commences on December 21, 2011

This year’s ICT event of Tamil Nadu will be organized on December 21,Wednesday. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Ms J. Jayalalithaa, will be the chief guest in the one-day event which will comprise a conference, an exposition and the Connect 2011 Award. The Confederation of Indian Industry in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Government is organizing the 11th edition of the ICT event at the Chennai Trade Centre.

The main subject of this year’s event is “Towards Innovation and Emerging Entrepreneurship – Tamil Nadu leads the way”. Some of the eminent speakers include Mr S Ramadorai, Advisor to Prime Minister on Skill Development & Vice-Chairman, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd; Mr R Chandrasekaran, President and MD, Cognizant Technology Solutions; Mr T.T. Ashok, Chairman, CII Southern Region; Mr N. K. Ranganath, Chairman, CII Tamil Nadu; and Mr Avinash Vashistha, Chairman & Country Managing Director, Accenture India.
