Experienced young people and youth experts are invited to take part in Eastern Partnership Youth Forum which will be conducted in Kaunas, Lithuania from 22-25 October 2013. The main purpose of this forum is to increase sustainable political/civic commitment to further support non-formal learning/the youth work recognition process through cooperation in the youth field.
Thematic areas-
- Democracy, good governance and stability
- Economic integration and convergence with EU policies
- Energy security
- Contacts between people
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Stakeholders are invited to participate in the Eastern Partnership Youth Forum in evidence based discussions and mutual learning and the qualitative development of non-formal education/learning and youth work
- Representatives/participants from Youth in Action Programme and Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) should have one of the following profiles-
- Young people active in youth organisations at local level
- Youth workers
- Youth researchers
- Youth policy/decision makers at international, national, regional and levels with an interest in local youth policy
- As the event puts an emphasis on the quality, visibility and transferability of non-formal education, representatives with the following background are also invited to apply-
- Business organisations interested in non-formal education/learning and youth work
- Formal education institutions interested in non-formal education/learning and youth work
