Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni Association (EMA) is established with the purpose of serving the interests of Erasmus Mundus Students and Alumni, notably by providing a forum for networking, communication and collaboration and by promoting Erasmus Mundus as a European programme of excellence in international education.
African members of EMA are invited to nominate themselves for the positions within the Board of the Chapter.
The call for candidates for the following positions is open:
1. President
2. Vice-president
3. Secretary General
4. Treasurer/Financial Secretary
5. Events/Conference Coordinator
6. Sub-Regional Coordinators (for West Africa, Eastern Africa, Central Africa, Northern Africa and Southern Africa)
Who can apply:
– High sense of commitment and responsibility
– Excellent communication and team work skills
– Project administration / team coordination experience
– Erasmus Mundus student or alumni from Africa
– Registered EMA member
– Passionate to help promote Erasmus Mundus in Africa
– Strong vision and availability to work for the improvement of the African Chapter
– Resident in Africa or in Europe
– Regular access to the internet
Once the applications process is complete, online elections will be initiated for electing the EMA-African Chapter Board.
Online elections: the board will be elected using the eVoting system set up by EMA. The entire process will be closely monitored by a neutral Committee. All EMA members from Africa have the right to vote online.
