European year of Volunteering (EYV)-2011) invites all the organizations from EU to get involved in the ‘Discover e-volunteering’ Competition as its Partners.
With the help of these partner organizations, EYV-2011 seeks to reach out to more NGOs who could participate in the Competition, as well as create more diverse and valuable base of good practices, which will allow more and more NGOs to benefit from the possibilities of combining both the potential of Internet and volunteering!
Role of the Partners would be to support EYV-2011 in promoting and organizing the Competition at their national or regional level. All the informational and promotional materials would be supplied in English, so that the partners can insert them on their Webpage, send to media and other organizations that cooperate with volunteers via the Internet and might be interested in joining the Competition.
Organizers’ Responsibilities
– Coordination of Competition proceedings,
– Preparing and distribution of electronic version of promotion materials (leaflet, poster, banners for Internet webpages) in English, to the Competition Partners
– Placing Competition Partner’s logo at the Competition webpage,
– Promoting information on Competition Partners.
Competition Partners’ responsibilities
1. Responsibilities of Competition Partners shall be related to promotion and organization of the Competition.
2. Promotional activities of the Competition Partners (at the European as well as local and regional levels) shall base on:
– Promoting participation in the Competition
– Placing information and promotion materials on the Competition at the Competition Partners’ internet websites.
– Distribution of promotional materials to media, partners, organizations, etc. over the course of the Competition. Promotional materials in English language shall be prepared by Organisers of the Competition,
– Distribution information on subsequent stages of the Competition,
– Publishing information on Competition outcomes
– Promoting information on winners of the Competition
– Promoting information on Competition Organisers.
Responsibilities of Competition Partners related to organization of the Competition shall include:
– Offering assistance in translating application forms into English to participants from given country/region,
– Offering support to Competition Organisers in formal verification of applications from the Partner’s country (on request of Competition Organisers) ,
– Presenting candidates to the international Selection Committee,
– Attendance in the Final Gala of the Competition to be held in Warsaw in November, 2011 (optional).
