The Ford Family Program in Human Development Studies and Solidarity will organize the Human Development Conference 2012 at University of Notre Dame from February 10-11, 2012. The Conference will be organized in association with Center for Social Concerns at Notre Dame and SIT Study Abroad, a program of World Learning. The conference will focus on topics relevant to human development. The conference offers a great opportunity for undergraduate students to enrich their knowledge about international affairs and development. In this context, organizers are inviting papers from eligible candidates for the conference.
About the Conference
The theme for the conference is “Faces Behind the Figures: Visions of Prosperity, Progress and Human Potential”. The conference is an opportunity to explore interdisciplinary, sustainable approaches to improving livelihoods and advancing human dignity. All undergraduate and graduate students are invited to take part in this conversation. Students are welcome to share their research experiences from a broad spectrum of topics, including:
