Scientists are invited to take part in the Future Earth young scientists’ networking conference 2015 on Integrated Science. The aim is to bring together creative multidimensional, interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary perspectives to address the complex topic of ‘Future Sustainability – the role of Science in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’.
The International Council for Science (ICSU), International Social Science Council (ISSC) and the German Research Foundation (DFG) invite applications for participation from post-doctoral researchers interested in integrated science and collaboration between the social and natural sciences.
The Conference will take place at Villa Vigoni, the German-Italian Centre for Cultural and Scientific Exchange at Lake Como in Italy, from 24-30 May 2015.
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-doctoral researchers with no more than 10 years work experience following their PhD; or individuals with equivalent qualifications (preferably under the age of40)
- Candidates interested in international, trans-disciplinary, intercultural research cooperation.
Application procedure
The application should include:
- Candidate’s CV
- List of up to 5 of the candidates publications
- A brief outline of how the candidate’s work is relevant to the seminar topic
- A half page outlining why she/he should be participating in the meeting
- A half page abstract for candidate’s proposed poster
